For guests travelling from abroad, we have booked transport to and from the city centre/wedding venue, so we recommend staying close to/in the centre of Bologna.

If you would like to leave earlier, we recommend pre-booking a taxi.

We have one rule: Strickly, no black! Our wedding is on the summer solstice, the longest (and hopefully, sunniest, day of the year!) Opt for colour, and while it's still a formal event, it will be too warm for tuxedos for the boys - so choose something that will help you stay cool like linen - ties are optional. For those wearing heels, most of the day is on the grass in the garden, so we recommend not wearing stilettos. Be comfortable so we can party the night away.
